It is official, Ryan and I have sold our house in Ewington. We signed the closing papers on Saturday, December 27th and we have 30 days to leave the premises. Of course I have all ready started packing. I have been working on packing up the downstairs and I just dread packing up all of the toys. We are no closer to buying the new place than before, but everything will be fine according to Ryan.
Christmas was great. We were able to see lots of friends and family. There were 3 new additions to the Alderman clan and it was nice to finally meet all of them. Hopefully I will be able to post some pictures soon that were taken. My mom came up for the Holidays and it has been nice having her around. I have managed to get out of bath time every evening and have been able to sleep in longer in the mornings. Thanks Mom! Kade of course made out like a bandit and received exactly what he wanted from Santa....Bath tub toys and a Tank! Santa was also good to me as well. He brought me a Wii, which has brought hours of fun to the Alderman household and thanks to Craig and Angie who helped us learn how to use it and create all of our Mii's.
That is all for now and I am sure there will be more to come. I will keep everyone posted on the BIG MOVE!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Nothing New
Christmas shopping has been completed for a long time, but for some reason I am just not in the Holiday spririt. I think it must be all of the anxiety of selling our house, packing everything up and moving in the cold, wet, Winter season. I am excited about this new chapter in our lives, but we (mainly me) have accumulated a lot of stuff. Once again the process of selling is moving much quicker than the process of buying, which will leave us with absolutely no time to do any home improvements on the new place. I am just waiting for the buyer to call and say, "you have 30 days to get out of the house." I know it all will work out and I need to stop thinking about it.
Christmas cards. I have not mailed the first card. I do have some ready to mail, but I have not mailed any. No excuse for what I am waiting for. Here are some pictures of the man that will be on some of the cards.

NERVOUS
For about a year and half now there has been a "For Sale" sign in our yard. We have had several people call and stop by over this year, but I guess it was about two or three weeks ago when our lives got pretty interesting.
From the beginning...Ryan has always been in love with a particular farm in Vinton, the Heduck Farm and after many years this farm is up for sale. This was at first an unreachable goal, but after many discussions we are able to purchase this farm along with another couple. We are buying the house and 74 acres and the other couple is purchasing the rest of the land around 115 acres. The exact same day that Ryan made and offer on the Heduck farm and it was accepted we received a call about our house this was on Saturday, November 15th and we scheduled a showing that next Friday the 21st. Well they liked the house and came back for a second look on the 22nd and Tuesday night we signed a puchase agreement and an appraiser is coming to our house today. Everthing is moving so fast and I can hardly believe it.
Needless to say the process of selling our home is moving a lot faster than us purchasing the farm. At this point we may be homeless after Christmas. We are very excited, but would like for our process on the Heduck farm to be moving as quickly. Ryan picked up a draft of our purchase agreement, but we are no where close yet. The Heduck farm had to be surveyed, new deeds created and we have not even started the bank process. I am stressed to say the least. I hope Kathy and Rodney need some house guests, because we may not have a choice.
Well that is my exciting news. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers that this all works out. And if anyone would like to do some house work give me your number. Definately need old rubber maid totes and boxes if anyone has any.

Happy Thanksgiving
I do not have any new pictures to post because I am lazy and I did not take a single picture over the Holiday.
My mom (Granna) and Granny along with their two dogs KC and Dru came up on Wednesday to spend Thanksgiving with us. Kade was so excited. First words when he saw them, "where is KC?" Poor KC was carried around for five days. I would love to hear KC's thoughts when he realizes he is at my house. On Thanksgiving we ventured to Waverly to eat Turkey with the Alderman's. We had a nice time visiting and of course all of the food was delicious. (Yes Kari, I ate a lot. I am getting my $50 ready to hand over!HA) On Friday we decided to do a little shopping. Crazy, I know, but I love it! Kade wanted to see Santa and can you believe it, NO line. He was a little scared at first, but I went with him and he told Santa he wanted bath tub toys. That seems to be the big ticket item this year beacause that is what he has told everyone he wants. Saturday we went to the Columbus Zoo to see the Christmas lights and it was beautiful. I have never seen anything like it before. It was completely PACKED, but beautiful. Kade called it the Jungle. He was excellent. We borrowed a wagon and he never complained. I wrapped him in a blanket and it was perfect. I may have to get one of those wagons for future use! Anyway we had a great Thanksgiving and I hope everyone else did as well. I hope to have some new pictures soon to post. Ryan and I may also have some new exciting news....WE are NOT pregnant, but it is exciting...more to come!
